Historic Canton Church Presents Linda Huth, Broadwater County Museum Curator

Victor Sample

The final 2026 Canton Church Summer Event will be August 28, 2026. The Historic Church will host Linda Huth, Broadwater County Museum Curator.

Linda is a lifelong Broadwater County resident; born and raised here in Broadwater County has made Linda an excellent Museum Curator and an excellent source for Broadwater County History.

Linda Huth will be giving a talk about a few different topics, including the history of the museum, a story about Robin C. Pennington, who perished in an airplane crash during WWII, and a few interesting tidbits from Broadwater County's history.

The Canton Church events are always FREE, but donations are welcome!

The Historic Canton Church was built in 1875-1876 and is one of the few surviving buildings from the town of Canton, which was flooded during the creation of Canyon Ferry Lake. All of our events begin at 5:00 pm, but the Canton Church will be open to visitors from 3:00-5:00 pm before events.

Visit our website at https://www.Canton-Church.org for more information about our events, the Historic Canton Church, and the Town of Canton.
