St. Peter's Health Clinic and Hospital Officially Collaborate October 8

MT43 News Staff Reporter

St. Peter’s Clinic and Billings Clinic Broadwater have announced they will merge their providers beginning October 8. St. Peter’s patients who receive treatment at the Townsend facility should continue to make appointments with that clinic until then.

Billings Clinic Broadwater will become the community’s single location for local healthcare services, including primary care, emergency and post-acute care, according to a letter sent by St. Peter’s Health to their patients dated August 20.

St. Peter’s primary care doctors will be seeing patients at Billings Clinic. The two facilities are exploring opportunities for St. Peter’s specialists to see patients at Billings Clinic, including orthopedics, general surgery, neurology, and cardiology.

For those patients who would like to schedule an appointment with their primary care doctor after October 8, Billings Clinic CEO, Justin Tiffany, asked that those patients call St. Peter's to request their medical records be transferred to Billings Clinic.

Tiffany expressed his enthusiasm about the move: “We are excited to take this step to make healthcare in Broadwater County more convenient and efficient. It is a win-win for the community.”
